Amidst the murky swamplands of the infamous Louisiana landscape, lies a city famous for a myriad of wondrous culture and musical genius. New Orleans has been the home of legendary jazz and blues in conjunction with great musicians. Both venues and musicians have simmered in the southern culture's eccentricities to produce an infusion of influential elements. Andrew Autin was privileged to be born and raised in this musical wonderland. His gravitation to music was no surprise.
Though there were many musicians that impressed Andrew at an early age, there was one guitarist that kept his fire lit, Ace Frehley. By the age of 13, he knew the guitar would become his weapon of choice that would lead him on his musical journey. Andrew spent countless hours at the “record player” listening to and learning every KISS tune under the sun. During high school, Andrew played in many local bands that would give him the experience he needed to perfect his craft. At that point, mid 80’s, Andrew became intrigued and influenced by other great guitarists such as Neal Schon, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert and the late, great, Dimebag Darrell.
In 1995, Andrew joined the New Orleans Classic Rock band, Grand Central. At this time, Andrew knew that mastering another instrument would make him a more versatile and valuable player. It was then that he began playing the keyboard. After obtaining his Bachelors Degree from University of New Orleans, Andrew was asked to join a popular New Orleans cover band. He spent 7 years becoming the master musician that led him to his next journey.
Andrew wanted to raise the bar with diversity and energy. He and 2 of his fellow members left to form what would become the hottest musical force to hit the South, MoJEAUX. MoJEAUX currently plays many Fortune 500 corporate events, major festivals as well as weddings and casinos across the United States.
His playing style comes to life with Fervor pick-ups. Whether it is R&B, Rock, Top 40, Blues, Funk, or any other styles that MoJEAUX caters to, Andrew is loyal to the Fervor name. Andrew currently plays Egnator Amps, custom built guitars by Scott Hembry at Hembry Guitars and of course, Fervor pick-ups. What sets Andrew apart from the rest are his technique, intensity, energy and ability to astound his audience. Andrew is a valuable musical commodity and his future is paved for greatness. Andrew feels that a craftsman is only as good as his tools; therefore, to be the best, you must play the best. We invite you to visit www.mojeauxband.com to experience the versatility this gifted guitarist can bring.

“Hey Geoff, I have been playing my strat all day...I can’t put my guitar down. The tone is so thick and it’s got a nice plinky funky sound when I put a little grit on it. I am really blown away, seriously!” — Andrew Autin
